My background is in Outdoor Activities. I started off kayaking and I've competed in the top divisions of slalom and white water racing and have more than a few wins in marathon racing to my name. From 2001 to 2012 I was Director at Calshot Activities Centre. Until recently I was deputy chair of AAIAC (the Adventurous Activities Industry Advisory Committee) and I chaired the Adventuremark Managing Forum. These days I work freelance for myself and I use this website to promote my ITC Outdoor First Aid and MIAS Mountain Bike leader courses. Please use the links above to navigate to the relevant pages. I also work as a consultant and technical expert for a number of Local Authorities and Outdoor Centres. Feel free to contact me if you would like any further information.
